Congratulations Dr. Rhodes! NC Family Physician of the Year Dr. Charles Rhodes of Mt. Pleasant, NC, was named the 2009 NC Family Physician of the Year. Dr. Rhodes was recognized for embracing the ideals of family medicine which have included his lifelong commitment to comprehensive and coordinated care of his patients, teaching residents and medical students, dedication to mission work overseas, and serving his community.

Cabarrus Family Medicine Supports Future Leaders For the fifth consecutive year, one student at each high school in Cabarrus County was awarded the Cabarrus Family Medicine College Scholarship. This year we have extended the scholarship to North Mecklenburg, Stanly and Rowan counties. Cabarrus Family Medicine began this scholarship program to honor some of its county’s future leaders.
