Charles W. Rhodes, M.D., was born in Germany and grew up in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his medical degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem and completed his residency in family medicine at East Carolina University.
Dr. Rhodes served in the United States Air Force before joining Mt. Pleasant Family Physicians in 1987. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Medical Director of Cabarrus Family Medicine.
Dr. Rhodes has a special interest in travel medicine and has done mission work in the Dominican Republic. Other areas of interest include osteoporosis, care of the elderly, and outpatient laboratory medicine. He and his wife, Nancy, reside on a farm in Mt. Pleasant.
