Our staff includes the faculty and residents of the Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program, who help educate our future doctors. Having a family physician as a healer and a teacher means you and your family will get compassionate, state-of-the-art healthcare.

Services Provided at Atrium Health Primary Care Cabarrus Family Medicine

Once you’ve selected a clinic, you and your family will be cared for by a team of board-certified family medicine doctors, resident physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and medical office assistants. Should you require hospitalization, our doctors will care for you at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord. We are the area’s only family practice to take care of our own patients in the hospital.

Our History

Atrium Health Primary Care Cabarrus Family Medicine has grown from a single practice that started over 30 years ago in Mt. Pleasant, to nine practice sites in Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Rowan and Stanly counties. With more than 300 employees, including more than 60 physicians, the organization is now the 19th largest employer in Cabarrus County. Test Results

Our office will contact you by letter, phone or through MyAtriumHealth to provide you with your test results. This may take up to 10 days.

Refill Your Medication

  • Remember to bring your medications with you to each visit so we can keep our records current.
  • Your physician generally will prescribe enough medicine to last until your next visit.
  • Please do not allow your medicine to run out. Once you start your last refill, contact our office to schedule an appointment.
  • To refill your medication, have your pharmacy contact us.
  • Refills on controlled substances (i.e. narcotic pain medications) must be obtained in person from your provider.
  • Healthcare providers will not prescribe antibiotic medications without an exam.
  • Prescription refills will be handled during regular business hours. Requests received after 3:30 p.m. will be handled the next business day.

Insurance

Bring your insurance card to your appointment. All fees are expected to be paid at the time of service. Insurance co-pays must be paid before you leave the office. Please contact our office manager if this policy presents an undue hardship to your family.
