Victor L. Ha, MD, was exposed to medicine at an early age as the son of a rural family practitioner in Red Springs, North Carolina. He earned a B.S.E. in biomedical Engineering from Duke University before completing medical school at East Carolina University. He completed his residency at Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program.

During medical school, Dr. Ha volunteered at the Tillery Clinic, a rural health center run by medical students. He was an active participant in the North Carolina Rural Health Coalition and spent a month during both his third and fourth years in medical school with NorthEast Medical Center’s medical student program.

Dr. Ha and his wife Dr. Anu Ha, another Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency graduate, live with their son in Charlotte.
