ELKINS AND ISENHOUR NAMED AS CHIEF RESIDENTS

 

CONCORD, N.C.—Dr. Stephanie Elkins and Dr. Chris Isenhour have both been named Chief Residents for the Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program for the upcoming academic year.

 

“Both Dr. Elkins and Dr. Isenhour have served with distinction over the past two years, and we look forward to their leadership and contributions to our training program,” says Mark Robinson, MD and program director.

 

Dr. Elkins is originally from Chicago, IL. She graduated from Wheaton College and the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

 

Dr. Isenhour is a native of Concord. He completed his undergraduate studies at UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Elkins and Dr. Isenhour began the Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program in July 2002 and will graduate in June 2005.

 

As chief residents, each will be responsible for specific administrative, education, and leadership activities in addition to their ongoing residency training and patient care responsibilities.
