J. Marc Wilder, PA-C, grew up in rural easter North Carolina. He received an Associate Science Degree and an Associate Theology Degree before serving in the United States Navy Reserve as a Hospital Corpsman. He graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of health Science and a Physician Assistant Certification. He then served as a Commissioned Officer in the US Public Health Service. He has also practiced medicine in pediatric neurosurgery, emergency medicine, rural family medicine and orthopedics.
He was mayor of Chadburn, NC before moving with his wife, Christy and their four children to Concord. He joined Cabarrus Family Medicine in March 2001 and still lives in Concord with Christy while their children are off pursuing their own academic careers.
