Sophia Hussain, M.D., received a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During this time she was active in her community and participated in UNC Hospital MEDworld – an organization which collected surplus medical supplies for distribution to developing countries. Prior to this, she volunteered in the Ophthalmology department of Duke University Hospital. She is fluent in Urdu and Spanish.
She is interested in International Medicine and caring for the underserved.
Her hobbies include: Cake Design, Traveling, Community Service, Wall Stencil Painting.
