Robert Poetta, MD, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University where he received is undergraduate degree along with his medical degree.
Dr. Robert Poetta will be part of Cabarrus Family Medicine from 2011-2014. He will see patients in the Concord office, Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast, and our teaching nursing home. Dr. Patterson is learning how to be a personal family physician through “hands on” patient care.
The opportunity to treat a wide variety of conditions, while establishing close, long-term relationships with his patients is why Dr. Poetta chose Family Medicine. He strives to always listen to his patients, and to treat not only the disease, but the whole person. His special interest is palliative care. He has a servant's heart and appreciates the opportunity to serve the underserved in his community.
In his free time, he likes to write, run and spend time with family and friends.
