Dari Caldwell Accepts Position with CFM

April 21, 2005 – Beginning Tuesday, April 26, Dari Caldwell, RN PhD will begin working part time at Cabarrus Family Medicine, PA as the Director of Quality. Her duties will include measuring the clinics’ quality and refining patient care systems for the organization and its 7 clinic locations. She will also begin work with Community Care of North Carolina, a statewide organization focused on improving care to Medicaid recipients later next month.

Dr. Allen Dobson, President and CEO of Cabarrus Family Medicine, said,  “We’re excited to have Dari, with her many years of experience in the healthcare field and community, to work with us to improve our patient care at Cabarrus Family Medicine. I’m also excited to have her join me in working with Community Care of North Carolina. Community Care of North Carolina is the state’s voluntary managed care effort to improve quality and help control Medicaid costs. It links physicians, hospitals, health departments, and other providers at the community level to improve care to the state’s poorest citizens.

Community Care of North Carolina currently involves 15 networks covering 85 counties, 3,000 physicians, and cares for over 600,000 Medicaid recipients. Cabarrus Community Plan, Inc. is one of the original Community Care networks.
