Katie Notaro, D.O., received a B.A. in Electronic Media Broadcasting from Appalachian State University and then attended North Carolina State University to further her studies in science. She attended medical school at Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Katie is a recipient of the National Student Osteopathic Medical Association Mentorship Grant. She served as President of the American Medical Women's Association in 2006 and was a Student Ambassador at VCOM. She was married in October 2009.
She enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with her golden retriever, going to the beach, boating and water activities. She has a passion for literature, especially mysteries.
