D. Mark Cody , MD received his undergraduate degree from the Davidson College with a B.S. in Chemistry. He attended medical school at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and then went on to complete his residency at the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Cody professional accomplishments include being a volunteer physician with the Columbia Free Medical Clinic in Columbia, SC for the last 3 years and also volunteered his time to help the Katrina evacuees. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, and the South Carolina Academy of Family Physiciams.
