Brian McCollough, MD, was born in Salisbury, but grew up in Durham, NC. He attended North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC where he received his bachelors in Laboratory Animal Science and a master's in Biology. Dr. McCollough then went on to attend American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine on the island of St. Marteen. After medical school, Dr. McCollough completed his residency at Seneca Lakes Family Medicine in Seneca, SC. He then completed an obstetrics fellowship in Spartanburg, SC.
Prior to joining Cabarrus Family Medicine, Dr. McCollough practiced just south of Chicago in Blue Island, IL. His interest in family medicine includes obstetrics (including c-sections), pediatrics, women's health, and medical missions.
Dr. McCollough enjoys various outdoor activities, video games, traveling, and spending time with his family. He has one daughter, Latifah. He and his wife, Giovonna, live in Concord with their dog Akira.
